IMPORTANT: STREAM GUIDELINES FOR ROTLA!

We are requesting all streamers involved in RAIDERS OF THE LOST ART to abide by the following guidelines with relation to their stream settings, hosting and programming as a means of ensuring the smoothest transitions for all viewers and the raid as a whole. This will aid in the growth of all individual respective communities as well as lift the overall morale of the viewers and most importantly freely share the music.

1) Please, Turn off Subscriber only chat

2) Please, Turn off follower only chat

3) Please update your stream title to show - Raiders of the Lost Art - All Vinyl - All City Raid Train

4) You can play any size vinyl 7”, 10” or 12” records ... .but DVS (Digital Vinyl Systems) are not included!!

5) For this raid train, your vinyl needs to be displayed/ used or shown on your stream & to show that you are actually playing vinyl, (you, the DJ do not have to be shown on-screen….but it would be nice to see you 🙂 )

6) PLEASE be online & ready around 10 minutes before your set, as a means of minimizing any raid derailments & try & pop into the DJ’s stream who is playing before you & say ‘HI’- so they know you are around! Many of the DJ’s are on tight schedules and cannot cover for late starts.

*Important* If you experience starting issues when ‘going Live’ & you think you won’t be ready on-time, please ensure you tell the currently playing DJ that you are running late!!

7) Programming: 

  We ask that when possible, we keep all things resonating with “Love & Respect”. Art is art and will paint vivid pictures at times and we love and respect art for its honesty. 

However, we ask that where given the opportunity to play a “clean edit” over an “explicit version”, that this would be the desired route! This just broadens our listener base and makes the overall energy of the raid one of positivity.

8) We are quite open to your self-promotion whilst streaming on this raid train - but, please keep this to a minimum, preferably, at the end of your set!! 

*NOTE* No Self-Promotion is allowed in the ROTLA Instagram chat group!!

9) Please use any of the Overlays, Timers, Commands, Flyers, Lineups, videos etc, in the links/ info in the ‘Confirmation emails’ (that was sent to you) & in the ROTLA IG chat group, within your streams - to promote this raid train & the other DJs participating! 

Please use at least one of these DJ lineups &/ or the flyer, within your stream!

10) We ask as a common courtesy: 

1.  “Follow” the DJ that you are going to raid into before you stream.

2.   Please raid out on time - (unless you are asked to extend your play)

3.   When raiding out, try to not continue to stream for at least 1 hr afterwards, as a means of sharing the kudos and community. We also understand that this may not be possible with strict back to back raids or stream life schedules, but we just mention this as a guide!

11) Hosting: 

  Again, we just ask that all DJ’s exercise our 2 fundamentals “Love & Respect” . 

We have a great sense of humor, but just ask that any discriminatory dialogue not be engaged in chat and again we keep things positive and upbeat where possible.

 
  If you are unsure of anything or need help with anything - please ask us - Mark or James, via Direct Message on Instagram - please do not post in the Instagram group chat! 

12) Twitch DJ Program

 As you know the Twitch DJ Program is now in effect. You are not required to join this new DJ Program to play on this raid train (the choice is always your own) - but you are still solely responsible for the music that you play on this raid train & Twitch

 

13) STYLE GUIDE

All DJ’s are asked to Bring the Funk, Soul or Rhythm in any of its many shapes and forms!

Be it Soul, Hip Hop, RnB, House, Disco, Funk, Breaks through to Salsa, Samba, Jazz, Afrobeat, Drum and Bass, Bossa, Reggae, Dub, etc.

We assure you that we are going that extra mile to ensure this event is of a top shelf calibre and has all the bells and whistles that make it a positive brand alignment opportunity for all involved.
